Valtech
In short - Valtech partners with many sports and outdoor brands facing similar hurdles. To tackle these, I created an omnichannel retail plan for 'Sports Republic,' a fictional brand illustrating digital innovation in retail through design.
Situation and challenge
Valtech has a white-label brand to showcase solutions to clients. Although Sports Republic isn’t real, its issues are. The online store offers many products, but customers can’t try them or see them in a sports context. The challenge is to create a omnichannel experience that blends digital and physical spaces, helping outdoor enthusiasts find the right products.
Discover
In an initial, intense, three day design workshop, we did an initial exploration of what a new employee experience could look like.
Define
We did a serious deep dive into the entire employee experience, and defined what the next standard of a digital employee experience looks like.
Design
We designed a MVP application for Albert Heijn called @AH. In which we bring forward the most used features of the store into one environment.
Deliver
We delivered the application to stores in the entire Netherlands. Where it is now used in almost all Albert Heijn stores.
